The Challenge
As part of a journalism initiation programme for young people, ONEProd was commissioned to make a documentary capturing both the learning process and the immersive experience lived by participants in a mountain circus setting. The project combined two challenges : filming in a demanding natural environment (altitude, weather conditions) and faithfully capturing the journey of budding young reporters.
Our Approach
ONEProd adopted a pure documentary approach : discreet presence, patient observation, capturing the young reporters' emotions as closely as possible. The film follows the thread of the experience, from arriving in the mountains to publishing the first pieces of journalism, with the art of the circus as a backdrop.
The cinematography blends wide shots of alpine landscapes with close-ups of expressions : focus, joy, discovery. The edit follows the rhythm of the programme, alternating between spectacular circus sequences and more intimate moments of journalistic work.
